This site design needed to be simple and easy to understand when the company needed qualified engineers to hire. We did this with simplified navigation and layout. During this time of Web design, we needed to address small computer screens. We did this by using columns to help display the most important information on each page. The site graphics mimicked the business’ print marketing at the time.
Scrolling through the screen samples the following features were used:
- The home page featured the navigation and a quick overview of the company.
- The next screens show how we simplified the layout by featuring the information and graphics, not navigation. Each sub-page had a home button so the user can easily go back to the main menu.
