Name: I-4 Corridor Driver Information Website – Concept
Client: Florida DOT
Category: Database HTML and CSS programmed Website
Date: July 15, 2003
This site design took advantage of database features. The design used blocks of information so the user could quickly find the current driving and construction. The database allowed for hourly updates for all information. We also created icons for quick recognition of everyday construction issues.
Scrolling through the screen samples the following features were used:
- Home page showing how blocks of the information are displayed. The database allowed for the most recent information to be displayed at the top.
- This page allows the user to quickly see where lane and ramp closures happen—the top submenu of each county and city. The city name will turn red if there is an issue there.
- The Media Page allowed for media to get updated information every hour.
