The Objective:
Update the existing design and layout so it is more enticing to the reader.
Creative Execution:
Having my own side hustle as a baker inspired me while working on this project. Working with the editor, we added new recipe categories that increased the marketability of the publication. To make the pages exciting and easier to read, I inserted larger images than in the summer issue and faded certain image edges to help the reader’s eye scan the entire page. I also updated the cover design using background images that feature the issue’s release season.
Result:
Positive reviews from viewers and a record number of new subscribers.
